Despite the ominous rain clouds setting in over Alice Springs’ Arunga Park Speedway last Saturday night, a great crowd of spectators and drivers turned out for the President’s Cup event, which featured a variety of open wheel, sedan and bike classes.

There will be no shortage of entertainment on offer for Alice Springs locals at Arunga Park Speedway this Saturday night, when the track plays host to the President’s Cup, which will consist of no less than eight different classes.

There’s certainly something to be said for home-track advantage, as evident in last Saturday night’s Halloween Spectacular race meeting at Hession’s Auto Parts Grafton Speedway, with local drivers Andrew Firth and Scott Marsh earning top honours in their respective classes.

Following on from what was a successful season opener recently, the Hession’s Auto Parts Grafton Speedway track will light up this Saturday night, with a Halloween special which will once again be headlined by the V8 Dirt Modifieds.
